This week Shu-ju and I practiced 3D scanning for our avatars. I tried two different poses - one with a crab and another with a neutral pose:
Our other half of the assignment was to create an asteroid game. Here are some photos of the development process and a video of the final result. This simple “arcade style” game was made using the Space Shooter Tutorial from Unity. You can’t hear it in the recording, but there is background music playing and sound effects for the laser rays, asteroid explosions and the spaceship explosion. There is a counter that adds 10 points for every asteroid destroyed and an option to restart the game by pressing R when the ship is destroyed.
